Miss Kim Lilac is a spring-flowering deciduous shrub. This plant produces purple buds that emerge into large flower clusters in the spring. Flowers of this lilac are lavender. The flowers of this shrub are very fragrant and can be smelt when there is a slight breeze. Flowering clusters will last for several weeks during their spring bloom. Blooms can be cut off and used as home decor.
Leaves of the Miss Kim Lilac are spear-shaped and about the size of an adult thumb. The foliage of this shrub turns dark red to orange in the fall. This shrub can be installed as a stand-alone plant or in a small hedge. Miss Kim Lilac prefers partial shade to full sun exposure. This lilac can grow up to eight feet tall and wide when it is fully mature. Miss Kim Lilac has excellent resistance to powdery mildew.
